Florence, Italy is one of the most beautiful cities i’ve ever seen and somehow after my trip last year i was left off with a feeling of disappointment. I thought that going to Italy late September would be okay, i wasn’t expecting to have the whole city to myself, but boy i was wrong. I haven’t seen so many people in one place at one ever in my life, not even in cities like London or Paris. I didn’t get to enjoy the city as much as i should’ve and that’s a shame.
Don’t get me wrong, i still liked that trip, especially at night, when all you could see where the city lights and hear the music coming from street performances.
I’m not the kind of traveller who does only “touristy” cliche staff, and if i do it, i always research and go when the crowds are gone. Except they never were (especially at Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vechio and Galleria dell’Accademia) and even tho i know that it’s not the city’s fault, i still look back and feel disappointment that i let that ruin my vibe.
